Aras Éanna Inis Oirr

Turas siar go dtí an saol mar a bhí atá sa taispeántas seo bunaithe ar an leabhar ‘Old Ireland in Colour’ le John Breslin agus Sarah-Anne Buckley ó Ollscoil na Gaillimhe.  Taispeántas de seangrianghraif daite de na trí oileán atá le feiceáil i gclós Áras Éanna.  Meitheamh go Meán Fómhair. This exhibtion of wonderful colourised old photos of the Aran islands returns to the Áras Éanna courtyard. Based on the book ‘Old Ireland in Colour’ by Galway University academics John Buckley and Sarah-Anne Buckley.  June to September 2023

Ceardlann  An Spidéal

‘Natural Selection’  Oughterard Court House

‘Tóchar – Ar Thóir Solas’     (‘Pilgimage – In Search of Light’)

‘Supernature’   Kylemore Abbey

                                                                                                In Fordham Hall at Kylemore Abbey there is an exhibition by Róisín Gavin & Anne  Costello. The exhibition is a reflection of Gavin & Costello’s love for landscapes and the natural environments that surrounds them and runs until the end of the month. Entrance to the exhbition is included with your Kylemore admission ticket. 

An Clochán/Clifden

When visiting Clifden don’t pass up on the opportunity to  visit Lavelle Art Gallery and the Whitethorn Gallery.  

Visual arts has always been an important part of  Clifden Arts Festival and is always something to look forward. The 2022 arts trail featured up to 30 artists. This year’s festival takes place from 14-24 September. Before the Beginning -Connemara National Park

Connemara National Park Picnic room has an art exhibition “Before the Beginning” This summer exhibtion has over 50 pieces of art, photography & sculpture inspired by the Connemara Pony.  The paintings will be for sale after Clifden ArtsFestival in September. All  proceeds from the sale of the artworks donated to  Connemara TherapeuticRiding

All the Dark Places- Interface Inagh,  

All the Dark Places is a site-specific exhibition curated by Alannah Robins. In the unique environs at Interface, a visual artists’ workspace in the Inagh Valley, Connemara, this exhibition brings together the work of five artists exploring the unseen pulse in the landscape.”
