Standún

Standún is a family-run clothing and gift department unique shopping destination store in An Spidéal, Connemara.

It was founded in 1946 by May and Máirtín Standún. Their flagship store has been a landmark in Spiddal, Connemara, Co. Galway ever since. The store has been proudly passed through the generations and is now run by May & Máirtín’s Grandchildren, sisters Clíona & Laragh Standún. Today, Standún has three stores and a busy online store, serving customers from across the world.

There is a huge variety of Aran Sweaters, Irish products, Menswear, Ladies fashion, children’s clothing, Irish and International gifts and homeware and a cafe with home baking.

Standun  is located in An Spidéal on the Wild Atlantic Way in the Connemara Gaeltacht.
