Tigh Chadhain / Coyne’s Gastropub & Pantry
Michael & Annemarie Coyne took over the running of Tigh Chadhain, Coyne’s Gastropub & Pantry back in 2000, but the family history of the pub stretches back to 1892, when Mr Coyne’s great-grandparents set up a Bar and a Grocery on the site.
Coynes Bar is located in Kilkerrin in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht, in an extraordinarily beautiful part of the Wild Atlantic Way.
But Coyne’s is more than just a lively, likable pub. Many visit Coyne’s Gastropub & Pantry to have their benchmark Seafood Chowder with perfect, sweet brown bread or the mussels in white wine sauce or the classy pan-fried sea trout.
If the cooking brings you in, there is much more that will make you stay. There are music sessions at the weekends with local “sean nos” singing and dancing, which is what you will feel like doing after a few glasses of their craft beers or from their range of Whiskeys, Gins and not to mention their Organic only Wine Menu.
Coyne’s Gastropub & Pantry is an aleph of the West of Ireland and of the Wild Atlantic Way, a delicious slice of living Irish Culture, Heritage and Cuisine which we’re sure you’ll enjoy!
