Scupltures at Brigit’s Garden’s

Follow the seasons through the Celtic Gardens in Brigit’s Gardens and view the  various Sculptures on display along the trails.

The Samhain garden represents the winter season when the earth is at rest.  The sculpture of a woman made of fallen birch leaves rests in the shelter of the islands.

In the Imbolc Garden  discover a carved triple spiral outlines the stories and symbol of Brigit, Celtic Christian Saint and pre-Christian goddess of the land.

Bealtaine is a time for celebratory fires and in the Bealtaine Garden at Brigit’s Gardens the fire runs from the Flame Figures Scupltures through copper flames set into the processional way between the standing stones, to the ceremonial fireplace in front of the bog-wood throne.

In the Lughnasa Garden has two interlocking stone circles for dancing and feasting, herb gardens celebrating harvest and abundance and mounds representing the constellation Orion, which some Celts saw as the warrior Lugh in the night sky.
