Five Reasons To Visit Connemara In Autumn

Looking for a post-summer staycation? Here are our top reasons for visiting Connemara in the autumn!

Summer may be over but that doesn’t mean our staycations need to be! June, July and August are high season for a reason, but don’t overlook the value of visiting this magical place in the off-season.

Spend and Save Scheme

The Government recently announced a scheme to help boost our hospitality and tourism industry by offering the public the chance to claim tax back on their spending from October to April.

The Stay and Save scheme will provide a maximum of €125 in income tax credits to tax-payers who spend up to €625 in restaurants, pubs, hotels, B&Bs and other qualifying businesses.

Customers can spend on bills and claim back 20% of their bill in tax credits. A couple can claim up to €250 back under the scheme.
