Renske Boef graduated from ATU in 2022. She is a Dutch artist who has been living in Oughterard for the past 25 years. Renske explores the concept of time and memory in painting, with the use of an archive of old family photographs she carried with her to Ireland. While Renske has exhibited in many group exhibitions, this is her first Solo Exhibition. It promises to be a beautiful and thought-provoking show that shouldn’t be missed.
Renske is very involved in her local community. She has been running art workshops for young people for over 15 years. Renske is also an active member of uachtarArts Art Group.
She is secretary of OCAP (Oughterard Courthouse Arts Programme) who organise the summer exhibitions each year in Oughterard.
Renske feels strongly about sharing her passion for art and very excited to be showing her own work in this exhibition.
