Join Corrib Beo and partners for the inaugural Corrib Féile FLOW 2025, a three-day festival celebrating the heritage, ecology, and natural beauty of Lough Corrib, Ireland’s second-largest inland lake.

Festival Highlights

Friday 19 September – Culture Night, Oughterard Courthouse

  • Exhibition: Lough Corrib, Our Legacy – Ár gCroí by Uachter Arts

  • Guest speaker: Luke Drea (LAWPRO)

  • Visual premiere: Polyphonic collage by Dr. Stefano Odorico

  • Banner display: Lough Corrib: A Rich Heritage

  • Tickets required via Eventbrite (launch event only).

Saturday 20 September – Inchagoill Island Experience

Sunday 21 September – Galway City, Commercial Boat Club

  • Focus on invasive species and water protection

  • Opening talk: Paula Kearney, Biodiversity Officer, Galway City Council

  • Live macroinvertebrate demonstration: Janet Laffey, LAWPRO

  • Guest speakers include Dr. Frances Giaquinto, Dr. Cillian Roden, Dr. Rob Gandola, Dr. Jan-Robert Baars

  • Free, but advance booking via Eventbrite required.

 Corrib Féile-FLOW 2025 is presented by Corrib Beo and the Corrib Catchment Partnership with the support of LAWPRO, Galway City & County Councils, Uachter Arts, and Fáilte Ireland. Together, we celebrate and protect the waters of Lough Corrib.
