Killary Sheep Farm Connemara overlooks Killary Harbour with stunning views of the water and mountains opposite. The bleating of lambs blends in with the lapping waters of the fjord.

Experience

This is a working farm managed by generations of the same family. The tour is tailored to the seasons and might include feeding baby lambs, sheep shearing and sheepdog demonstrations with Sweep, Lassie, and Fly showing off their skills to a young puppy in training. There are also turf-cutting experiences and walks.

Where and when:
Bunowen. Leenane. Take the N59 at Leenaun – the farm is on the south side of Killary Harbour.
Killary Sheep Farm in Connemara is open to visitors from March 1^st to September 30^th – 7 days a week.

Farm tour will start at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Tours
Tours lasting over an hour start at 10 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. From July to September the tour includes the traditional shearing sheep with hand shears.
