Looped Walks on Inis Oirr

Inis Oírr is the smallest of the Aran Islands and it has two looped walks. Lúb Cheathrú an Phoillín, is 13km long and takes about 4 hours to complete. The looped walks on Inis Oirr brings the walker to all of the ancient monuments on the island including Cill Ghobnait, an 11th century church and Caisleán Uí Bhriain – a three story castle built by the O’ Brien family.

Lúb Cheathrú an Locha is a shorter trail at 8km long and takes about 2 hours while bringing the walker to most of the ancient monuments of the island.

Is é Inis Oírr an ceann is lú de thrí Oileán Árann agus tá dhá lúb ar leith ann. Tá   Lúb Cheathrú an Phoillín 13km ar fhad agus thógfadh sé 4 uair an chloig. Téann sé thar séadchomharthaí an oileáin – Cill Chobnait, séipéal ón 11ú haois agus Caisleán Uí Bhriain san áireamh. 

Tá Lúb Cheathrú an Locha níos giorra, 8km ar fhad thógfadh sé 2 uair an chloig agus téann sé thar cuid mhaith de shéadchomharthaí an oileáin.
